Welcome! I’m so grateful you’re here!

A quick intro: while hair and makeup are what I do, it is not who I am. As you may have noticed, I don’t solely talk about my hair and makeup business here or on social media. While everyone tells you to do things a certain way for success, I don’t follow those rules because who I am is more important than what I do. First and foremost, I’m a follower of Jesus, and I will forever tell people of His goodness. Before I can tell you about my business, I have to tell you why I can even have this successful business, and it’s all because of the Lord’s constant faithfulness and mercy in my life. That’s the reason why I am able to help out all of my lovely clients. I love people, and I value your time and money. At this stage of my life, I’m about relationships, and clients aren’t just “numbers” or “work” anymore. I want to add value to your life when we work together and leave you encouraged in your new season. It’s important to me that you know who you’re hiring.

I love being married! We just celebrated 15 years of marriage and 19 years together, hence our vow renewal/anniversary shoot you see across my site (by Deven Holly Photography). Marriage is my favorite topic of conversation. Why? Because I tried to walk away from mine, but God’s miraculous mercy let me get to my rock bottom of doing life my way and put it all back together again. Now, after 15 years, I have what I thought I was supposed to have when I said, “I Do”. But how could I? Nobody told me that you had to cultivate your marriage into what works and doesn’t work. So, I am passionate about marriage and giving Godly sound wisdom to my clients when they ask. To really start them off correctly with realistic expectations for a healthy marriage!

Then there’s motherhood! It has been the best addition to my life, and like most, I never knew what I was missing until I had my boys. I am a mother to curly red-headed twin boys, Malachi & Elijah. They challenge me in a whole new way that is so rewarding. (Family shoot coming soon)

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME:

I love the ocean and anything related to it. It brings me so much peace.
I will never follow the crowd. I refuse to have what others have and I never jump on bandwagons.
I have strong convictions and live my life by them, whether anyone else does or not.
I believe in transparency and truth above all else.
I can usually see right through people and who they really are.
My life is finally starting to line up with all the things I’ve been seeing glimpses of in my head for the last several years, and I am so excited at what God is doing.
I love people and deep conversations. I absolutely despise small talk, so I tend to stay quiet a lot. However, ask me about Jesus, and I promise you’ll leave encouraged and full of faith and conviction.
I tend to be a perfectionist in my bridal work but nowhere else in my life.
I love balsamic vinegar (shout out to my bride Natalie who also loves balsamic vinegar).
I started a podcast in Dec ’23, and it brings me such joy! (Go check it out.)
I believe in being a faithful steward over the things we have and are under our care.
I hate being the center of attention.
